The whale, or a bowl of petunias.

I want you guys to understand that I wrote this during a rough down period. I go into what I mean about that below. The point of this post is to make it clear that, no, travelling is not always

This is not even my final form!

Welcome to Three Points of Contact, the third iteration! I suppose I could place a bit of spin on it and call it Three Points of Contact: Remastered. I’ve said it before, but it’s incredibly hard to write a travel

About that…..

So, I’ve not posted anything in a long time. There are a bunch of reasons for this. Don’t get me wrong, I haven’t lost a passion for writing, or travel, or anything. Far from it. But life, as ever, gets

The Refurbishing

Hey everyone, It’s become painfully obvious to me that a travel blog isn’t something one can really maintain without, you know, travelling. Kind of a key aspect to the whole endeavour. Also, I realised that I have little to no

“Back in Canada”……..

(Note: this one kind of rambles, sorry). Canada. I’ve been trying for an hour to come up with something to commemorate Canada Day and talk about where Canadians fit in the world. I can’t seem to do it.  Not because

The recollection

So it’s been exactly one year since I left for Europe. When I left, I had no idea what I was doing. I bought my flight (a one-way from Toronto to Gatwick) on what was essentially a whim. I suppose

The Start, and the Second Start

First off, thanks to everyone for being so patient. It’s tough collecting all my notes and trying to bang out something coherent. I know that’s small consolation for you guys, who are here by your own choice. I really do

Who are we?

Three Points of Contact is a blog and video record of one Canadian guy travelling solo around the world while dealing with a disability.

I'm that guy. I love meeting people, making them laugh, and getting irrationally angry about improper sandwich layering.

I hope you enjoy it!
